The Process
Oddities pieces are designed and handcrafted by Andrea in her Sydney studio workshop. Each pendant is fully sculpted, moulded and cast by hand using professional-grade materials and techniques drawn from film prosthetics.
Andrea specialises in lifelike sculpting and casts in Platsil Gel-10 for its realistic, skin-like texture and durability. Every piece is tinted, poured and finished individually to achieve unique tones and natural detail. The nipples are hair-punched by hand, one strand at a time, for the utmost realism.
The tooth pendants are life-cast from real wisdom teeth and molars, then cast in dental acrylic to achieve an authentic weight and opacity. Each tooth is hand-drilled, painted with alcohol inks and finished with care to preserve its organic charm.
With experience across moulding, lifecasting, and prosthetic fabrication, Andrea’s work bridges the gap between special effects and wearable art - transforming professional SFX techniques into collectible curiosities.
